For the first time ever, the Golden Knights are Stanley Cup champions.
Every young hockey player has that dream of one day lifting the Stanley Cup above their head, carrying it around the ice as the crazed fans go wild. And each season, one well-deserved team gets to live out that dream.
In 2023, that dream became reality for Vegas, who knocked off Florida in five games in the 2023 Stanley Cup Final.
There was a plethora of players who contributed to the Golden Knights' victory. From Adin Hill's emergence in the crease and Jonathan Marchessault's goal spree, to Jack Eichel and Mark Stone's stellar two-way play, there was plenty of praise to go around.
