The USFL season kicked off 10 weeks ago and eight teams entered the fray all with one goal in mind — to be the last team standing.

And 10 weeks later, each of those eight teams can still make a claim that it'll be them. Entering play this weekend, the Birmingham Stallions are the only franchise to clinch a playoff berth, but the seven that remain are still going to battle it out for the final three spots.

Teams like the New Jersey Generals kept themselves in the driver's seat with a crucial Week 9 win over the Philadelphia Stars. The objective remains clear — win, and worry about the rest later. The league has been a treat for football-starved fans during the NFL offseason. With final week of the regular season set to kick off, chaos is certainly on the menu.

Saturday, June 17

Maulers (3-6) vs. Generals (3-6)

  • Kickoff: 1 p.m. ET
  • TV channel: USA
  • Live stream: Peacock, Fubo

The tightly packed North Division kicks off Week 10 with perhaps the most pivotal matchup of the weekend. Plenty is left to be decided in the division that still has two spots available. As far as playoff scenarios go though, this one is easy. Win or go home. The Generals not only kept the Stars from clinching in Week 9, but kept left the door wide open heading into Week 10. The same can be said for the Maulers — who also got a important win over the Panthers. It'll be the second of two meetings — which the Generals won by a convincing 20-3 score back in Week 2.

Stallions (7-2) vs. Showboats (5-4)

  • Kickoff: 4 p.m. ET
  • TV channel: Fox
  • Live stream: Fox Sports App, FoxSports.com, Fubo

The Stallions are on cruise control for the final 60 minutes of the regular season, but the same can't be said for the Showboats — who dropped a critical contest in Week 9. Out of all the remaining teams, the task is toughest for Memphis. They need to win while getting some help from the Gamblers, who also need to be victorious — and also have to capture the strength of schedule tiebreaker. The odds aren't in Memphis' favor though, considering the 42-2 demolition the Showboats suffered at the hands of the Stallions in Week 2.

Saturday, June 10

Breakers (6-3) vs. Gamblers (5-4)

  • Kickoff: 4 p.m. ET
  • TV channel: FS1
  • Live stream: Fox Sports App, FoxSports.com, Fubo

Sunday's action kicks off with a simple win-and-in scenario for the Breakers. Before the action gets underway, we'll know what will need to happen for the Gamblers to clinch. Regardless, Houston still needs to win because its playoff chances will become nonexistent with a loss. New Orleans escaped with a seven-point victory the last time they met in Week 2. The Gamblers will hope to have better luck this time around.

Stars (4-5) vs. Panthers (3-6)

  • Kickoff: 7 p.m. ET
  • TV channel: Fox
  • Live stream: Fox Sports App, FoxSports.com, Fubo

The final game of the USFL regular season mirrors the game that the NFL sets up for its last contest every year — two teams facing win-and-in scenarios. Fox gets to broadcast the prime-time action as the Stars try to steer clear of a collapse down the stretch. They've lost two straight, failing to clinch in both weeks. Luckily for them, the Panthers haven't been much better, squandering their opportunities as well. History is on the Panthers' side, however, as they beat Philadelphia 24-10 in Week 2. Someone will have to get back on the right track this week, setting up a playoff date with the Generals or Maulers.
