For the first time in 75 years, the U.S. Open is returning to Los Angeles.

LIVE: Follow U.S. Open leaderboard updates from Round 4

The third event of golf's 2023 majors calendar will be played in L.A., with Matt Fitzpatrick looking to defend the title he won last year at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts.

This event is also notable in that it's the first major being played since the PGA Tour and LIV Golf merged in early June.

Some of the early frontrunners are the usual suspects, including Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, and Brooks Koepka. Rory McIlroy, who has settled down after a disastrous showing at Augusta, is also in the fray.
