LIV Golf players at U.S. Open: Tracking scores for Brooks Koepka, others on 2023 leaderboard

LIV Golf and PGA Tour players are back together again. This time, as both competitors and coworkers.

The unfriendly competition between LIV and the PGA Tour has made for strange bedfellows, with the two sides now united under one (to be named) golf banner, with the PIF backing it all. 

While LIV Golf players have been free to play in majors ever since they first made their defections from the PGA Tour, this will be the first major that the two groups of players will play under the same banner. To that end, one featured group will be worth watching.

PGA Championship winner and LIV Golf star Brooks Koepka tees it up alongside PGA Tour frontman Rory McIlroy as one of Thursday and Friday's featured groups. While the drama between the two player bases may have been a bit manufactured, the fact that two of the biggest stars in rival leagues end up in a group together in one of golf's majors is just a delicious coincidence. 

Koepka already proved his dominance — and gave LIV some credibility — with his fifth major win at the PGA Championship. Will he or another LIV player do it again in L.A.?

LIV Golf players at the U.S. Open scores 2023

Of LIV Golf's field, 15 players were eligible for the 2023 U.S. Open. Brooks Koepka (2017, 2018), Martin Kaymer (2014), Dustin Johnson (2016) and Bryson DeChambeau (2020) all hold U.S. Open victories.
