After finishing P2 in Monaco last weekend, Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso will be eyeing up a surprise victory as the action switches to his home race at the 2023 Spanish Grand Prix.

The 41-year-old veteran has twice won around the Circuit de Catalunya in both 2006 and 2013 and will be desperate to add to that tally and claw back Max Verstappen's advantage at the top of the World Drivers' Championship standings.

After winning last time out in Monaco though, Red Bull's Dutch maestro will be difficult to beat here again, especially as he took the chequered flag in Spain last season.
