RIZIN's top star will look to keep gold in his first title defense as Kleber Koike Erbst returns to action at RIZIN 43. The RIZIN featherweight champion defends his title against Chihiro Suzuki on June 24. 

The event is in the Makomanai Ice Arena and airs on FITE in the U.S.

Making his pro debut in 2008, Erbst is a former KSW featherweight champion. He has fought for various organizations, from Deep, Rings, KSW, Pancrase, and ONE. Joining RIZIN in 2020, Erbst beat Juntarou Ushiku in October for the RIZIN featherweight title. 

His last bout was a loss to Patricio Freire on a Bellator vs. RIZIN card. Now back to fighting RIZIN’s best, the 33-year-old is ready to secure his spot at the top of RIZIN’s rankings.

Suzuki turned pro in 2017 for Pancrase, and in 2018, he won the Neo Blood Flyweight Tournament Final. Joining RIZIN in 2021, he is 5-1 with the promotion. The 24-year-old last fought in December, beating Yoshiki Nakahara via knockout. 

Outside of MMA, Suzuki has competed in kickboxing and was once the KNOCK OUT Black Super Lightweight Champion.
